Walaska, Shekarchi to take part in “Skills that Matter for Jobs that Pay” Conversation in Warwick
Conversation at Warwick Vets to Focus on Strengthening Neighborhood Schools
PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Sen. William A. Walaska and Rep. K. Joseph Shekarchi will join Gov. Gina M. Raimondo as she hosts her next community conversation focused on helping people build the skills that matter so they can compete for the jobs that pay on Monday, May 9 in Warwick.
This conversation will explore proposals to strengthen our neighborhood schools and help Rhode Islanders to compete for the jobs of the 21st century economy.
“We must collaborate to make our state a place of opportunity for everyone,” Raimondo said. “I look forward to hearing from Rhode Islanders, and I am eager to share the work we are doing to move our state forward.”
